I'm a former owner of a large moving company and have seen a lot of movers in action. From the very start, Liffey shined. Their estimator arrived at my house on-time, reviewed our scheduling (Last week of June - the worst time to move, as all movers are booked solid) and promptly submitted their estimate.
The crew we received - Ed Nolan (leader), Thomas, Louis, Edgar and Walter were among the best I've ever seen. It was a 3 day move, involved lots of heavy items (I have a huge tool & equipment collection) plus fireproof files and a safe. The weather was hot and humid, but never a complaint from the guys!
They protected our houses and property, everything was padded and stretch wrapped in the house, and place exactly where we wanted it.
Nothing was damaged, even though we had 7 truck loads in total.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Could only give high marks to this company. So professional and friendly and reassuring. Could talk to them at anytime. Roy was a joy to work with and even called me to inform me that my shipment had  cleared Custom ( this was an international shipment) Told 6weeks for delivery and that was on the dot.. Bravo Liffey  Vans !!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!

I made the mistake of storing my items in this place and meeting Danny, one of the owner's sons.

I had to remove my items when I was asked to relocate to California. They took the liberty of emptying some of the boxes I previously packed into a bigger carton box of theirs.

When I reported this to Danny and I asked him if I could get the box they were using (as mine got thrown away) he said I should pay for the box!!!!! But he tried to sell me the all-taped broken box my items were in for the retail price!!!!

I said that I had kept my items for over 7 months in one of the biggest storage rooms they have and he looked up and down to me and said "that money is no business for us".

I can't describe how unpleasant, arrogant and spiteful that man is.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! 
Make sure you pay your storage fee to someone who appreciates it!!!!

It helps if you're Irish so I converted and all is well! The owner Dan is a very good man as is his beloved dog and both are my heros.
