Props to Lighthouse Bakery. Located next to the court house. Just picked up my special order for Mother's day, an Italian rum cake. One of our favorite cakes She did a wonderful job preparing this order. I've ordered this before for a birthday. Wow it was delicious. Highly recommend this Bakery for special orders. You will be pleased.
I ordered a chocolate cake for my birthday not pictured it was delicious!! The toasted almond cupcakes are so scrumptious too! Give them a try. You won't regret it!
I can't explain how awesome this little bakery is! I'm never disappointed with anything here. Staff/owners are super friendly & work with you above n beyond expectations. All the baked goods displayed are fresh & delicious. There's also tables inside this cute bakery to eat at & I believe you can have small parties here too. The cakes I ordered a day ahead of time, total last minute, came out better than any bakery I've ever ordered from, both in taste & looks. Very professional & highly recommended! I can't thank them enough!
It's so wonderful to find a bakery that makes the best burnt almond cakes around. The cakes are moist and delicious and my family enjoys the cakes on birthdays and special occasions. I love the burnt almond cakes so much I buy one even if nothing to celebrate. Wonderful customer service. Thank you for being in Hollister.
I love their burnt almond cake. It's reasonably priced for it's size. They also make cupcake size portions for individual serve size. Try it out before buying the large size cake. For me it's moist and very tasty but you be your own judge. The cake can be used for a birthday cake. Ask staff how many servings per cake. Great pastries made daily. Stop in just to look at the unique pastry display case. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Please be prepared to become innocently addicted to the chicken salad croissant. The apple turn overs. Truthfully, everything here is delicious. I highly recommend this bakery. The staff is so humble and patient, kind to their customers.
A coworker mentioned this place when asking where to grab some good desserts so I popped in. Customer service was great and even threw in an extra cupcake that I wasn't too sure on. The cupcakes themselves were moist and rich in flavor. I will definitely be returning for more in the future. Toasted Almond Cupcake is amazing...
We were visiting Hollister for the day. We had lunch at a local spot and we were looking for yummy desert. We found yumminess at Lighthouse 55. We got there late so they only had cupcakes left and macaroons. The best cupcakes we have ever had. I regret not buying more. Amazing. The gentleman that helped us out was also super friendly. We are considering taking another day trip to get the guava cupcakes. We live in Denair.
Brought the family over today and was pleasantly greeted by so many beautiful pastries. Sam and Laurie, the owners were very nice and patient while my kids decided what treat they wanted. Wife was happy with the burnt almond and bacon maple bars. Will be back again and again!
