Story

Lincoln Airport is a public/military airport located five miles northwest of Lincoln, NE. It is owned and operated by the Lincoln Airport Authority.

The airport currently offers direct flights to Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, and Minneapolis on Delta and United. We want your experience to be the best possible, so please let us know if you need any assistance while you’re here. Stop by our Customer Service Desk located next to the main entrance of the terminal or talk with a Red Coat Customer Service Representative.

Such a cute little airport. Parking is cheap ($6.50/day) and you can walk from the parking lot in 2 min. There's also free coffee and WIFI in the terminal while you wait, so I was a happy camper. One thing I wish I'd known: the security line doesn't even open up until an hour before departure time, so there's no use showing up any earlier. You could seriously roll up in here 45 min. ahead of time and be fine.

Got here an hour and a half early like you're suppose to do when flying. One TSA line is open, so I get in line. Told I'm not allowed to use that TSA line because I'm flying United not Delta (I guess that line was only for Delta). Person told me not to worry because the gate is right behind TSA so I'll be fine making my flight. Makes me so nervous. It's 10am TSA should be open!

This airport was featured in the hit 2013 animated children's movie, "Planes" so i think it's pretty much the greatest airport of all time.

I would give this 0 stars if possible. I bought a small snow globe and was told since it was larger than a golf ball I could not bring it through security..... it's a friggin snow globe... and where is that rule?? I think the TSA agent didn't have that one on her collection... not to mention have you seen some of the globes you can buy at any other airport??? Garbage excuse.

I love smaller airports like this one. Flying out of O'Hare International really can make you appreciate the ease of flying at a smaller concourse. Lincoln Airport looks modern and is clean and cared for. TSA is only open briefly prior to the flights. If you arrive early belly up to the bar and buy a cold beer served in a frosted glass from the nice ladies at the only restaurant in the place.
