Dr miyatake was so caring towards me ! I had two wisdom removed with no problems and very little swelling! She did a great job! Her staff was also amazing, I would def come back here if needed or send my family members also! She is def worth 5 stars witch I never give!

Dr. Miyatake is a super pro-level oral surgeon.  

Her wisdom teeth extractions are flawless and have the least amount of swelling and bleeding.  I've heard so many horror stories of non stop bleeding from other people.  Her jobs stop bleeding when I got home, and the swelling went away after day-three. 

She has very reasonable prices, takes a ton of different insurances, and is extremely transparent.

Linda built up the bone where my teeth were extracted to the point where you couldn't fit a sheet of paper between the gum and the opposing teeth. On a followup visit she claimed that the teeth had grown down that much, but that was not true. Also, I have ringing in my ears ever since she removed the teeth. I am going to a different surgeon in San Francisco to get implants also because he costs about 1/3 of what she charges.

By far the best oral surgeon in California. Her staff is also fantastic. Both of my children have had surgery done by Dr. Miyatake, the surgeries were 5 years a part and both times she was great, as well her staff.

I had an appointment with Dr. Miyatake for a tooth extraction.  She talked a mile a minute when i had questions and actually seemed really irritated with my questions. I just wanted to know what was going to be done so I would have an idea how it was going to heal. I had concerns about infection and after care. Instead of considering what I was saying or explaining why I should not be concerned she answered with a curt, "My patients never get infected."  Okay.... well, I don't know all your patients and I am concerned about it.  I wish she could have taken 30 seconds out of her apparently super busy schedule to explain the anatomy of what was going to happen and why I should not be concerned.  Before any surgery, I feel if the patient is interested, the doctors should explain what is going to happen to them.  She seemed to not want to take the time to do it and made me feel very uncomfortable asking questions and I felt very defensive by the end, in search for answers.  I was there for about 10 minutes. I was not asking for an hour lecture, just more information.  I am 33 years old and was going to be awake during the surgery.  I feel like for the money I was going to pay, I could at least get a little more time for information to put me at ease about the procedure.  I didn't appreciate how she made me feel and she pretty much ruined my day and I didn't even get a tooth out. I opted to not have her do the procedure. Maybe she was rushed because it was a standard procedure.. I don't know. All I do know is I don't get teeth extracted often so I just wanted to be comfortable with the procedure and get a little information and not feel rushed through it.
