On Friday 3/31/17 at 4:30, my sister went to the Liquor Box with my 4 year old  special needs niece.  She picked up the bottle of wine that she needed and headed to cash out.  My  niece got out of my sister's grasp and ran.   My sister was able to catch up to her and get her back under control.  The woman behind the counter then said EXTREMELY rudely to my sister, "That was an expensive mistake" (not sure why she said this, as nothing got broken).  My sister was so upset that she  left without purchasing the bottle of wine.   When she got home, she called the store to find out when the owner would be in. The woman on the phone was very snarky, stating that she didn't know when the owner would be in, because she only works 3 days a week.  My sister then told her that she did not have very good customer service skills. The woman then said "Ok, Miss disabled daughter" and hung up.  Mind you my sister never told her why she was calling or who she was.  This behavior is unacceptable, and I would never support a business that has employees that treat customers like this.

I went here knowing absolutely nothing about alcohol. The staff were helpful and courteous and even gave me free glasses when I forgot to buy them elsewhere. This is definitely going to be my go to store from now on.

If we could give one star, we would. This afternoon we went inside to make a purchase and walked into a racist conversation between the clerk and a customer. We promptly noted, aloud, how inappropriate this was and that we would never give them business again.
