Being someone new to TX, ordered to go from here for the 1st time and I am a bit impressed! Chickens were delish! -have that good crunch on the outside, fresh and tender on the inside! The gizzards were also cooked so good! Wait time was a bit longer which is the reason for 4 stars- though it could be from the busy day and my amount of orders, but overall, I definitely recommend!
What the actual heck?!?! This place is terrible! How has it been around so long? I mean it's just not good! The fries were cold and dry. The fish is paper thin and the corn on cob looked like it has been in a steamer for days... just eww all around :- I just wanted some decent fish to grab on my way home but NEVER ever will I again.
Fried okra wasn't as good as it usually is and they were out of dinner rolls but the chicken is always spot on! Love the gravy too!Food: 4/5
First off this is 3 stars simply because of the overall presentation of the establishment. You can see upon arrival that this building is in need of repair. The staff wasn't overly friendly but I cant call them rude. The tables were dirty and a mop bucket was out in front of one door creating a trip hazard. Now let's talk about the CHICKEN! It was really good and I'm glad we tried it. I would definitely eat this again. Fresh tasting, well seasoned and large portions. I recommend trying it but just dont expect to be impressed with service.
Ordered a 12 piece mixed and the chicken was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. You couldn’t tell the dark meat from the white meat. Highly disappointed. Check you chicken before you leave this spot.
The chicken and mac n cheese is sooo good! The fish is decent but I like the chicken better. I tried an apple pie and I didn't really like it. I haven't tried the lemon because they were sold out. I will be back
Fried fish dinner was good. Fish was cooked crispy. Cole slaw was spoiled so we lost our family sized container but it happens. The review would of been 5-Stars if not for the Cole Slaw. Family meals are a great value.
Only stupid people with a large family would not take advantage of this place and it's prices. Good food and great service. I have never had a bad meal.
I have been here dozens of time always fresh food . But yesterday I went drive threw got 2 piece dark chicken it was gross had a smell like old meat and didn't look good I was afraid to eat it I don't need food poisoning sorry guys you have lost my business.
My favorite worker is, Chris, the Post Malone look alike!!! He's so kind and has the best customer service! Good food.
