Established in 1965, the mission of Lisle Library District is to provide the highest level of service, programming, and materials that enrich, educate and empower the community.
The purpose of Library-sponsored social media is to communicate information about the Library and to promote Library events, as well as to promote literacy and foster life-long learning.
The Library welcomes engagement with staff and public alike. However, Library-sponsored social media is not intended to be a forum for public debate, and is therefore limited. The Library reserves the right to moderate, block, or remove content which violates the purpose and spirit of the Library’s social media.
