My 3 year old and 8 month old have been at Little Feet for about 5 months now- we previously had been at an in-home daycare since my first was 3 months old. When I was told she was closing last minute I was nervous because I thought I loved it there. Boy was I wrong….our previous provider closing was the best thing that ever happened. From the first phone call to Little Feet inquiring about opens and their willingness to help accommodate my very last minute need for care for my 2 boys was the first sign that we were going to feel right at home at Little Feet. My 3 year old has had some speech issues which greatly improved within a few weeks of starting at Little Feet. All the teachers and the owner/director were so patient in helping my 3 year old transition into the new preschool structured setting which he was not used to. The love and dedication the teachers have is top notch; each and every one of the teachers at Little Feet is so warm and loving to my boys and I couldn’t be happier with my decision on choosing Little Feet. Little Feet is the perfect combination of a warm and loving home daycare with the structure and setup of a small intimate center.

We have recently left Little Feet, having two children who have been in all three classrooms (infant, toddler, preschool.) For starters I will say that Ms. Dawn, the preschool teacher, is phenomenal. I am amazed at the progress my daughter made both intellectually as well as socially in the 11 months that we were there. Unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to remove our preschooler from Little Feet Daycare due to the unsupportive attitude of the owner/director. I found her completely unwilling to work with our family to find a solution to a chronic biting situation that our toddler faced. Despite being bit several times, including an occasion drawing blood on her face, the director proved unwilling to rectify the situation, citing it was "normal behavior" and the best they could do is shadow the other child, to which they did not follow through. Despite my best attempts to work with the teacher and director to find a plan that would reduce the frequency of such incidents, it was clear she had no intention of rectifying the situation. If you value parent-caregiver communication and seek a provider who is willing to work with you to overcome obstacles, I would advise you to seek another provider.

My granddaughter has been going to Little Feet for about 7 months and we love it!! They are very patient with her speech issues and she has learned many words from her interractions with the other children and the staffs efforts, knowing her needs. I feel that the atmosphere is that of an in-home daycare with all of the personal touches that each teacher consistantly brings to each room while having the structure of the center based daycare/preschool!
