Coming from Chicago, gyros are a big thing. Real gyros do not have lettuce on them; only onions, tomatoes and the sauce. However, I order the gyros how I want it and they are very good. Pitas always fresh. The rice is dry so I go with the fries. Always friendly service. This is my go-to place for gyros in Louisville.Food: 5/5
The best falafel, spinach pie and pita bread I've had in Louisville. I was so glad I ordered the appetizer sampler, all those three came with it. The pita bread the one for the hummus and the one in the gyro are the best pita bread I've had anywhere. I don't know of freshness, brand or some secret ingredient, but AMAZING dough. The gyro was great as well as was rest of the sampler. Great Monday promotion, gyros are $5.99 or 20% off more or less. Place is clean and fresh, easy plaza parking and great location in St. Matthews. Seems temporary hours are 11-8 not to 9pm as their usual hours. Overall great value, extensive menu and I've yet to try many other options that caught my eye.
their staff didn’t seem to understand questions we were asking and were not familiar with the menu. the grape leaves are listed on the menu 3x in different spots all for different prices so pay attention to which ones you’re getting some are more expensive. my wrap was good! the veggies on the side were very seasoned but not in a good way. they also only have plastic silverware for dine in.
The food was fresh and made when you ordered it. The employees we encountered made sure we had a great dining experience. This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be returning many times for the excellent food.Food: 5/5
After attending a local charitable event that offered no vegetarian fare we made our first visit to Little Greek Fresh Grill for dinner. We ordered for in restaurant eating a veggie pita and 2 Greek salads. What you will notice in the pictures is that there was no silverware, plastic or otherwise available during our in restaurant meal so we had to get to go boxes so we could eat our meal at home. The food was good and the wait minimal but then again we were the only ones ordering at that time but why they had no plastic or clean silverware they couldn't explain nor did they make any effort to get us silverware so we could eat our meal. This is the first time in my entire life that I have been to a restaurant and not been able to eat my meal since they had no silverware. This was August 18, 2018 and we haven't been back. Disappointing for a first time visit.
Fried pita and taziki is great, however, much more sauce is needed. Other places I've been to give 3x as much taziki sauce. Gyro was satisfactory and filling. Extra sauce is extra charge. Would return againFood: 5/5
It’s a great place to eat. My favorite is Chicken Pita with fries and cannolis. Service is quick, good quantity of food. Love to come here always. They never disappoint! Highly recommended!
Good fresh food and could have easily been four to four and a half Stars if it hadn't been for the bad service and cheap cheap plastic silverware, no napkins, no tableside attention. None. Small plastic cups for drinks or water. We as consumers have the power! We need to insist that places that we patronize use biodegradable or washable utensils and drinking containers. My chicken Pita had very very little chicken, lots of shredded lettuce for a great presentation but not a great deal of substance after that. The other items in our picture were tasty. If you just want some decent Med food not a bad place. Seems a little expensive for what all you recieve.
Stopped for lunch. The Falfal pita was delicious, soft pita filled with falafel balls made with chick peas and spinach, lettuce, tomato and onion. Of course tzatzki sauce is cool and refreshing. My friend got the gyro pita. Meaty with toppings. The hot sauce on the side was spicy garlic. They have catering or will make orders to go. Vegetarian options: Falfal is veggie, if you want non dairy leave off the tzakzki
Complete disappointment. I came in today and ordered a steak pita/gyro and it was awful. It takes so long to prepare which made me more excited to eat it and once I did I wasn’t pleased. The meat is so hard, it’s like attempting to chew on rubber. It was awful and a complete waste of almost $9!!!! Taking a pic of the food won’t explain how terrible it was, couldn’t finish it because it was so tough to chew on and ending up throwing it away
