Still my favorite late night place in town. Open late - until 5am. Can't resist the best deal in town. 2 large slices and a fountain drink for $6.95. Nice Thin crust with a good sauce and cheese. Always cooked to the point of bubbling cheese. No table service, just walk up to the counter and order. There are a few tables inside and outside. Super casual.
Narrow little local pizzaria serving delicious crispy pizza , quick register service and 15 to 20 small tables you can push around for small groups of up to 7 or so people. Garlic knots are garlicky, pizza hot and crispy. A regular slice is very thin with a lot of flop and a medium amount of oil drip. Other slices like Sicilian and Grandma look good too.
The smells of pizza draw you in. When you walk in the front door, see the pizza and prices you know you are in the right place. The pizza was delicious. A++ The counter service happy and prompt. A++ The atmosphere is a pizza joint styled place. Grab a seat. Eat your pizza. Enjoy.
I don’t know if this pizza place was having a rough night but the restaurant didn’t look really clean. I am writing this review the day after and I didn’t get sick after this pizza. Here are some pictures. The pizza was good tho.Food: 4/5
I regularly pick up a plain slice for my husband which he loves. We had grandmas pizza delivered and it was excellent. No fancy cheeses or sauce just great nyc pizzaFood: 4/5
Review the offerings before you order, to make sure you get The Most Amazing of all their amazing pizzas. Then an order of garlic knots —by far the best food value in Manhattan — to top it off. Delicious!Food: 5/5
Pretty standard New York slice shop. Good for weeknight meals if you live in the neighborhood and want a special slice they don’t have at other places nearby. Wouldn’t travel especially far to get here and there are better delivery options if you don’t want to go out, but pickup is pretty reliable.Food: 4/5
pizzas are delicious and satisfying. I tried 3 different slices, but actually, even one slice would be enough to feel full.Food: 4/5
Delicious New York pizza, plain and simple! I always got the cheese slice and was never disappointed, regardless of which location. We’re talking a thin, crisp crust, and a tangy sauce. It’s just right. But it’s not the kind of place where you want to spend any time, what with the sterile lighting and cramped area and general messiness. The service is also brusque but I let that slide because what do you expect in a fast paced New York pizzeria? Better to just get it on a paper plate no bag and eat while walking, Saturday Night Fever style. My only issue, and for me it’s a big one, is that I just wish more of these great pizza joints would offer a non-dairy option. I asked recently and the guy at the counter winced at the thought of it. Is it really that crazy? There are a lot of people in the general population who don’t do well with dairy but still want to enjoy pizza. I am one of them, and so I can no longer eat this pizza because of that. And for all of these pizza joints that refuse to offer a non-dairy option, well, it’s your loss. You would make more money if you did!
We just ordered pasta pizza and paid extra to add meatballs, and it came without meatballs. They charged us full price though. Needless to say we had to eat meatless pizza that costed $40. Besides, if I ever try to go there, guys working there are super miserable and disrespectful. We kept giving them another change but never ordering from there again. Just order from Freddie and Peppers and save yourself from trouble.
