My husband and I stayed at the Live Oaks Inn in January 2008 just after they reopened their doors after renovations.  We loved the room we stayed in.  It had a private sun room and a nice view of the marina.  It also had a Jacuzzi and brand new linens.  All of the beds are brand new.  There is also a nice deck outside that we were able to sit out on and visit, while watching the boats at the marina.  It is a great place for a romantic getaway or even just a peaceful stay.

I visited Live Oaks Inn earlier this year for a very relaxing stay.  It was a nice getaway from the North.  I stayed in Ridgewood.  It was wonderful because it has a comfortable king size bed and its own sun room overlooking the Halifax Harbor Marina.  Live Oaks Inn is within walking distance to Historic Downtown Daytona Beach where there are plenty of restaurants and shops.  Jackie Robinson Baseball Park is within walking distance to the Live Oaks Inn too, a great place to watch the Daytona Cubs play.  The owners are thoughtful and will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable.  I will be back soon to stay at Live Oaks Inn, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at Live Oaks Inn 4 times since they reopened in January.  First I stayed in Fernwood which has a panoramic view of the Halifax Harbor Marina.  The atmosphere was relaxing and the bed was very comfortable.  The next time my wife and I stayed in Osbourne.  I think that is my favorite because of the King size bed and the large private sunroom overlooking the palm trees.  Next time we were in town we stayed in Seabreeze.  That room is huge!  I was told by the owners that it is used as a honeymoon suite and I can see why.  It has a large private deck overlooking the garden and a huge Jacuzzi and sitting area.  We have also stayed in Colonnades and Geneva.  As you can see, my wife and I cannot get enough of Live Oaks Inn.  The owners are so easy to work with, and it is the perfect home away from home when we are visiting Historic Downtown Daytona Beach.  I have already recommended it to friends and family.
