Love this park but feel it could be used for more than just colonial days. The garden is amazing and could be used as a great educational tool for students and amateur gardeners ( if the plants were continuously maintained and labeled). Maybe an artist venue once a month would be a good idea and bring more awareness to the park. I hope they decide to quit putting up so many buildings their because it is starting to intrude on the natural beauty of it.

This is a secluded, quiet, beautiful park in the middle of a North Augusta neighbourhood. On most days this is an excellent stood for a picnic, game of frisbee, or just to let kids run around, but don't miss the living history events held here throughout the year! The reenactors are always engaging and knowledgeable for people of all ages. You can make a day of it or just stop by for 30 minutes and still get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Make sure you visit this colonial living history park. The person who runs the smoke house has the best bacon and is very knowledgeable about charcuterie stuff. Lots of dedicated people teaching real history here.

This is truly a neighborhood gem. It is like a little Colonial Williamsburg. Reenactments and festivals are held here. The park is well maintained and well-managed.

It's a beautiful, tranquil park, perfect for a picnic or a romantic stroll. There a replica building from the 18th century, and it's very well taken care of. Once a year, the town holds its Colonial Days celebration, which completely worth it. Blacksmith shop, an old apothecary and other charming era-building that can be reserved through their website. I love sitting next to the water wheel, or contemplating in the botanical gardens.
