Been going to Liz for almost 20 years, starting when she had a chair at Olive's. Someone referred me to the shop when I was new to town, and I had my first appointment with a different stylist, but once in the salon, it was obvious to me that Liz was the best stylist in the place. Started going to her exclusively and followed her when she left. Her salon prioritizes taking care of clients' hair for the long term, while still making you look great and charging a fair price. Highly recommended.

1st time was very good, 2nd time around was the worst. Press and curl took forever and turned out to be a frizzy hot mess .When I complained, I was told to have mentioned I was pressed for time so they could have assigned a more experienced stylist to me, Really? Everyone might as well come saying they are pressed for time to get the best service. Waste of my precious time and money...I will not be returning!

The staff is friendly. The owner is amazing, she is very knowledgeable about hair care and ensures her whole staff is on the same page. I love that their goal is to help you have healthy hair and not just styles that damage your hair like some other salons I have been to. I've been going to Liz' for almost 10 years and I cannot imagine letting anyone else do my hair. They are so thoughtful they even help you get your quarters in the meter if you are under a drier or cannot get outside for whatever reason during your visit.

I have been going here for over a year during the school year and my natural hair (4b) is always taken care of and it grows. My hair gets dry and damaged over the summer, but Liz's always ges it back up to par! Definitely the best black owned and operated hair salon in Boston!

This Saloon is Terrible. Had a bad experience paid so much money got the worse experience. If you love good results(outcomes) definitely not a place to go. Beware!!!! I won't be surprised if they fall out in a year from now because of their terrible service.
