This is a cute deli style Cafe tucked away from the street. If you weren't looking for it you wouldn't know it was there. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Ordering was very easy. My wife has dietary restrictions and they took the time to help her with the menu items that met her needs. The food was absolutely delicious! If there was one negative it'd be paying $3.50 for a 12oz canned soda. All in all, still a nice place I'd definitely recommend.
First time coming here yesterday with the family! Very cute place but there was no hello, welcome, or anything when we first entered. We were standing around wondering how everything works till we finally asked. And trying to get a peach tea is complicated as well since nothing is labeled. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad but the lettuce was old and had pink all through it. Everything else was amazing though besides the salad! And it's very kid friendly too as a sweet woman brought my kids out a giant paper to draw on while we waited for our food to come.
Outstanding fresh breakfast. We had omelettes with potatoes. The cake was amazing as well. Great local spot - it was busy on a Saturday around 11am but worth the short wait. Nice atmosphere ….friendly employee as well.Food: 5/5
One of the best healthy restaurants in fort worth ! All fresh and clean ingedients plus lots of gluten free dessert optionsFood: 5/5
Went to early Friday breakfast. Food is very good. We were only people in restaurant at the time. Although manager, maybe the owners were in restaurant, yet no one stopped by to say hello or check on us. We were just a couple of people who they seemed to care nothing about. Lots of staff just lingering around. Not a good vibe.Food: 5/5
This is my favorite place to eat lunch in Fort Worth. No money is ever wasted here. Everything is tasty just wish my stomach and wallet were big enough for more! After being disappointed and dissatisfied with Jason’s deli, Panera, la Madeline’s and others my heart always feels right at Local Foods Kitchen. Every flavor is fresh, rich, and noteworthy. They even serve wine for the enthusiast. Pastries galore I can’t believe they do catering…. That’s like a dream come true. It does get very busy and there is little room to share with others so try to go for brunch or after the lunch rush so you’re not waiting outside.
I really wanted to love this place. I had heard really good things so maybe came in with expectations too high. I got a wedge salad and Reuben combo. The wedge was amazing. The sandwich was just fine. The ratio of ingredients wasn’t my favorite and the bread was so crusty it chewed up my mouth. The desserts and salads were fantastic. Maybe I just ordered the wrong sandwich.
This place is hands down fresh and delish. It's on my must stop list for Fort Worth. The kebab salad is amazing, and the cakes are a visual delight I hope to try soon!Food: 5/5
It was okay. Let me explain: moderate line out the door, only outside seating available, asked for two different menu items at lunch on Saturday and both not available. Luckily the Cubano was available and was the sandwich of choice this day. Tuna was okay but the bread was dry and underwhelming. Again, more meh with the garlic fries, no taste of garlic. Desserts were plentiful and we ate them before I got pics—Sorry .
Five stars plus! Featuring the foods and meals you would stock and prepare in your own kitchen if you were Meryl Streep in the movie, "It's Complicated." Right down to the plants in jars, on the patio and around the front entry, it is all good here. We stopped in for a weekday breakfast and made the choice of blueberry pancakes, crispy breakfast potatoes and an avocado toast with poached eggs on top. Amazingly, this was some of the best avo toast I've ever had! I take it very seriously. It was just as good as in Australia or Asia or Seattle, and yet...better, because the edge crust of the bread was still tender while the center was never mushy. Perfection! The pancakes meal was huge and flavorful. Fluffy, not too sweet pancakes and nice fruit compote berries slathered on top. We had coffee with our meal, then had to order some of their gargantuan cookies as a breakfast dessert and also to takeaway for friends. Amazing place! Hearty foods. Healthy foods! If you have a lighter calorie requirement, though, do consider sharing one breakfast. As it is I think this meal will hold us til tomorrow!
