Do not use this Local Galveston Locksmith LLC! I called just to get a quote from them for a customer at my place of business for locking their keys in their car and I could hardly understand the person on the phone because of his accent and he asked me question after question and I could not get an answer on any type of quote. After five minutes I was told that I couldn't get a quote until the locksmith came out and the guest had to pay the $19 for assessing the vehicle. I told them have the locksmith call and give me a quote and to not come out until I had a more definitive estimate than $19 plus $25 plus however much he thought he should charge. They had the make model and year of the vehicle and still couldn't give me anything. So I called a local company and they came out immediately within twenty minutes and gave me a flat rate which was better than getting ripped off by this company.

My experience seems to be consistent with all the others. Called at 12:18am, locked out of my house. Told someone would be there within 20 minutes. Quoted $29 call charge and $35 to pick my lock. 40 minutes later get a call telling me that he was 20-25 minutes away, told him to forget it. Calls me back 15 minutes later telling me he would waive the call charge and could be there in 20 minutes, I told him to go ahead and come. 25 minutes later he shows up, opens my door within minutes and says I owe him $180. I refused to pay, explained what I had been told and he said all conversations with the dispatcher were recorded. We call the dispatcher and he listens to conversation and says to the dispatcher you told her a total of $60, they continue to talk and he begins to threaten me if I refuse to pay. An hour later I agreed to pay $50 with him telling me that his family is starving and I don't care among many expletives. As I said this story with others, stay far far away from Local Galveston Locksmith LLC!

I worked with Local Galveston Locksmith and they were very straightforward and transparent up front. This made me feel comfortable with calling them out to change my locks. The price they quoted me was upheld and they did a great job changing my locks quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't have a problem using them for future changes!

I couldn't believe that my first review has to start with negativity to Local Galveston Locksmith LLC. If anyone needs their service, be prepared that it will cost you $200 dollars. The price is quoted from the technician who came over for helping me open my bedroom door. We talked the price down to $50 dollars, but they kind of blackmailed me to write a good review for them. I just simple couldn't lie. I let the guy go.

I  was extremely pleased with the service I received-both in timeliness and quality.   I have an old house and the lock problems were a particular challenge; however, the nice husband and wife team went out of their way to research a way to maintain my antique locks while addressing my very modern problems.  Having read about the bots on the internet, I was particularly interested in the fact that several of the reviews of  this VERY local business were registered from people in other parts of the country.   I asked them about it and they shared their concern that this did not appear to come from their customers.   I can tell you this REAL LIVE customer is very satisfied.
