The food and drinks were good. The service was not. We waited for 45 minutes for our cheese curds at the bar while we waited for our table. After we placed our food order at the table, it took an hour for us to get our soup. People who had been seated 15-20 minutes before us didn't get their food for at least 20 minutes after we did. It was our first time eating here but I don't know that we will be back anytime soon, even though the food was good. I had been thinking of using this for our wedding venue but will definitely need to reconsider.

Big. Really nice outside area. Decent food and limited wine selection. They've already changed the layout of the restaurant area which may be indicative of having the wrong atmosphere (just guessing), but the place does feel a little scattered. Is it a sports bar? An upper-scale (it is definitely not upscale) restaurant? A wedding reception location? Seemingly, it's trying to be all three..

When the Local Lounge opened I was excited to have a high end restaurant on the west side of town. The remodeling that had been done was top notch and their initial local menu was fantastic. Unfortunately there was an issue between the owner and the head chef they had to the point where the head chef left and with him many of the other cooks. Since then the food has greatly declined. Their service has also suffered. I recently had group of 7 there for a work Christmas function and everything other than the environment was a disaster. They messed up every single on of our orders, struggled keeping any of our beverages filled and we ended up sending some of meals back because they were inedible. One of us ordered lobster at about $30 for the plate, took one bite and spit it out, she then had me try it and it was one of the worst things that I've ever tasted it. The $30 steak meal was edible but was not great considering the price. Ever since losing their initial local fresh food thing it has bombed. I will no longer be going there after several bad experiences. - Price point is too high for the quality of food - Wait staff needs more training

The food was good. The specials are pretty good deal and add variety to the menu. It's a good place for special occasions.

Atmosphere is great. Decor is lovely. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Crab pasta and the asparagus and artichoke pasta. The crab pasta should have been called "Snow pea pasta with crab" as the Crab was hard to find. Different name gives different expectations. The pasta in the artichoke dish was matted together and not appetizing or edible. But the flavor was wonderful! The combination is terrific, but still fell a bit short as I expected to see asparagus spear heads or artichoke heart shape. The waitress brought another dish that, again, begins with a meat name but was mainly only flavored with the sausage. The salads were beautiful. The dessert was delicious. It was a yogurt blend, rhubarb, and mint leaves dish served in a water glass. I just felt that a smaller, more delicate spoon would have been better suited. Overall, good experience. Would try again.
