Went for our fifth year anniversary and we both loved our meals. Side veggies were cooked to perfection, bartender mixed the best drinks we've had at a restaurant in a long time, and service was great without being overbearing. A gem in the middle of nowhere and we will be back a lot!

This was our first time at Lock 17 Bistro.
 Lovely atmosphere, relaxing.
Staff were great and friendly. 
The food was freshly made, very enjoyable.
  Across the road, a walk by  the canal locks,  very pretty.

We docked at the burritts lockstation and walked over one minute.
Service kept on exceeding expectations throughout the meal
Fish and chips A+
Mussels were perfect 

In the end they grew the salad, basil for pesto, and beans in their own garden right out back
