Never got ripped off so hard before! I got stuck out of my apartment and the door was unlocked, just shut (can't open it from the hallway). I called the guy and he came over and quoted me 250$ to open the (unlocked!) door. My research showed that most locksmiths charge between 25-100$ to open a door, but I was desperately stuck out and they are the only ones who picked up the phone. I asked him if that's the full price, and whether he is going to need to change the lock. He assured me that the lock does not need to be changed. Once he opened the door, he said, "Now the lock won't work, if you want it to work, I need to change the cylinder" and charged me another 100$ for the cylinder (Well... he technically really didn't need to change the lock, but... I guess I should have known to ask about the "cylinder", which by the way most locksmiths quote 5-25$ not 100$). So while he assured me the price is guaranteed to be 250$, it magically turned into 350$ and when I reluctantly pulled my wallet to pay he said that it's going to be an additional 50$ for sales tax. The guy charged me 400$ for opening an unlocked door. I never felt so ripped off in my life. More info still: I called the company, they said they'll call me back. They didn't. So I called again. They said it'll be 20 minutes. Once 20 minutes passed I called, and they told me it's gonna be another 25 minutes. Once those 25 minutes passed, they told me they're looking for parking. 20 minutes after that they finally showed up. Also, when I called, they assured me they are charging me the daytime rate, but once I went on to pay the guy said it's late and that he's actually gonna charge me the night rate. Also, on the phone the assured me that they accept credit cards, but when I asked to pay with a card at the end of the job (that lasted 5 minutes), the guy told me "cash only". Eventually they did accept my credit card.

Great Locksmith Store. The owner is knowledgeable and fair. I've been dealing with him for many years, always satisfied.

Very good locksmith! They came to rescue me and my boyfriend in the middle of the night, they were really fast. The locksmith defiantly knows what he's doing, opened my door in 2 min. Thanks a lot! 5 stars!

This place is an absolute scam. They told me it would be $85 and when the locksmith came he opened the door in less than 1 minute with a piece of cardboard and charged me $150 plu tax. He was also 50 minutes later than what he promised. DON'T USE THEM.
