I was overdue on my books due to my son being ill and in the hospital. I called the library and explained and even though some of my books were overdue and some were on reserve, they were kind, empathetic and gracious to me and extended the due date. On the day of the new due date, my mother died and I was again unable to return my books and again they were kind, empathetic and gracious. Thank you to the wonderful librarians at the Lockport Library!

I love this library! My son loves the huge children's floor! Everyone is so nice and helpful!

It's a great facility for the casual library user. It would be nice to have additional quiet study space since there always seems to be people in there. Library staff are friendly and helpful. The children's section looks like a welcoming space with lots of colors and activities.

This is one of the better libraries. IF USED PROPERLY, late fees are not an issue and just support buying new books. Upon request they will buy newer books and put people on waiting list for the book. Get tax forums, free WiFi, pc use, and book sales and community events.
