This is a small market which carries only the essentials and usually at slightly higher prices than other nearby big-box grocery stores. But as a family-run business with a small-town vibe, it is absolutely worth your visit.

The main attraction is the deli in the back corner of the restaurant. Loeb's deli serves delicious sandwiches; any one of them are worth trying, but my favorite has become the Earl B (turkey, muenster cheese, artichoke hearts, and garlic aioli on French bread... yum). Also check out the rack of fresh baked cookies by the deli counter.

Walk back in time to what grocery stores used to be.  Convenient for the basics and alcohol. Terrible and expensive produce department. If you need milk or eggs,  you're okay.

I am a frequent shopper here as i work in town. It's a great friendly atmosphere with great deli food and great prices.

The sandwiches! The Lesley B! The yellow deli paper was a status symbol at my high school-- when someone had a Loeb's sandwich you knew there was no better lunch in the room. Take it to go and eat it at Stockbridge Bowl or Olivia's Overlook. Now that's a day.
