Checked out the newly re-opened Log Cabin Inn. Food was terrible as was the service. My medium-well burger was well-done to the point that even part of the bun was black. I was really glad I didn't try the steak. Fries were awful too. Asked waitress to ring us up & waited forever. Finally brought us our bill after we got up and started putting on our coats to leave. I couldn't help but notice that my $3.00 Captin & Coke didn't include the Coke... there was an additional $.50 charge for the soda. That's something I've never ever encountered before anywhere. From now on I'll stick the the Doyle Hotel in Duncannon when dining in Perry County. Their food & service is so much better and you can't beat their great prices.
