Genuine smiles and authentic Mexican food can be found here. Every bit of the experience at this restaurant makes you feel like you've walked into a family gathering. The owner welcomes you with a huge smile. You can sit where you like in this quirky cantina and the waitress will come to you. We had a garbage burrito with chicken and asada and a plate of carnita fries. Still had leftovers. If you are looking for completely homemade Mexican fare, this is it! This family will feed you! My only complaint is you have to pay for a small thing salsa and chips. Which given the prices and time you wait for your food I honestly think should be complimentary.

Our food was good but just want to let everyone know that if you buy and order of salsa, you will NOT get any chips with it. Those are extra. I was honestly pretty shocked at that. Most Mexican restaurants I have been to have complimentary chips and salsa but not even providing chips with a paid order of salsa will keep me from going back again. Our bill for a lunch for 2 was $50 and the food was good. However, the add-ons they charge for basic things is just too much.

The staff are extremely kind, the food is great and is as close to authentic Mexican as you can get with as far north as we live! The prices are very reasonable, but the portions are HUGE! Glad we picked it for dinner tonight

Always friendly staff bringing good Mexicali​ food to the north country. Big fan of the home made tortilla chips which make thier nachos amazing. Best choice for protien is the Carne Asada.

Listen, If you know what and like authentic Mexican food then this is the spot. This place is delicious. Food takes a little longer because everything is made fresh to order. Great service, great staff and outstanding fresh food. It is what it is....lots of food for little bit of money. Fantastic! Great find. #BuddhaReview
