I just read that a student's award was revoked and he was removed from being student body president just because of his views on gun control. I would never allow my kids to go such a narrow-minded liberal school.

Pretty good campus, they just need more vending machine locations.

This is my first time attending this campus, the staff and bookstore associates are very nice! The library has a kids section on the first floor and this campus is family friendly. I recommend going to this campus rather than going to Lone Star University Park.

The administration to the continue education is horrible....We tried to start spanish 3 and we needed six students, but the college would not promote the class so we only had four students...Since we didn't meet the requirements they cancelled the class...I went up there to get my refund, but the guy said that I had to wait until the end of the month or the first week of July.

Advising is ridiculous. The wait times are crazy, usually an hour plus. Not all advisors even know what they are talking about. I had one advisor tell me that I needed a certain class to satisfy my degree and I actually didn't. I called her out on it. She emailed me later to say "yeah you are right you don't need that class." To think I could've wasted time and money due to her lack of knowledge. Lonestar is grade inflation at its finest. If you like take home tests, ridiculous amounts of extra credit and high school level questions go here. I felt this school did nothing to prepare me for an actual university. 2 stars because parking is free lol.
