Went here for the first time this morning around 8:00am and half way into my kolache I found a bug/SPIDER in my EGG, ham and cheese croissant. Threw the rest away. I’ve been to other Lonestar Kolaches in Austin and they’ve been great!!! Not sure what happen but PLEASE clean your skillets, etc before you cook in them! It might have been a fluke, but I won’t be coming back to this location any time soon.
I went there this past weekend and ordered a couple kolaches and 2 egg/potato breakfast tacos. The tacos didn't taste fresh and were dry overcooked maybe or sitting too long. The kolaches also weren't good; will be going to Shipley's in the future as they have very good ones and are across the street. I thought I'd give another biz a try. Disappointed!
Great kolaches and great variety.Food: 5/5
Large variety. So good!!! I loved the spinach and cheese. Son loved the Ranchero. Of course breakfast kolaches are always good or just our bog standard, sausage, cheese and jalapeños. We ran across this place while running errands in Austin, then found there's one in Round Rock near son's work and one in Georgetown, not toooo far from our house outside of Jarrell.
Used to go here a lot. If you want a quick kolache, sure it’ll do the job, but as for quality of pastries I would not recommend. Sorry guys, but there’s too much sub par food in Pflugerville. Gotta do better than that.
Good selection of early “snacks” the Kolaches are excellent and the customer service is awesome. Place is clean looking, which says a lot of where you decide to eat. I recommend This place for sure.
Clean, kind and kolaches are yummy!Food: 5/5
Great kolaches. Always get the ham egg and cheese!Food: 5/5
Addicted. When I bite into my gravy sausage kolache, I'm reminded of home. Home, where my mother would make breakfast on the weekends while my dad slept off the hang over. Home, where I would fight with my siblings over the TV in the morning. Potpourri dishes expiring left and right. Scooting around in my socks. Love it. Just like I love these kolaches.
Friendly staff, good eats and great way to start off the day. I've been coming here for years and definitely recommend them.
