I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It's poorly designed, the tent camping and/or no hookup sites are paved and fairly level, but the rv/full hookup sites are dirt, not level at all, and all crammed together. The staff is friendly, there's a convenient boat launch, and swimming area, with a small store that doesn't open until 10. The bathrooms were clean and garbage cans are at almost every site. The road in is narrow and windy, I wouldn't recommend it for larger rv/trailers, nor is it conveniently located to anything other than the lake. So if you're tent camping and just want to hang out at the lake, or if you have a boat, this would work great for you.

We had friends camping at long Ravine so came up for the day to check it out from Yuba City.

Cons:
The campsites are very close to gather so much your Neigbors can here you fart

Some sites are on extreme sloop and the ones close to the water are very difficult to come up and down with supplies or to get to the water.

Very rocky shore, no sandy beach area at least at long Ravine.

Pros:
Boat ramp is in good shape
Bathrooms were ok and have 4 min shower for 1.50 
The water is clean and not to cold
Only 1 hour from home 

Growing up going to lake Don Pedro, McClure Modesto resurivor, woodward and others in that area makes other lakes hard to compete

Close to i80 5 minutes outside the town of Colfax on the south side of Rollins Lake, Long Ravine is open year round.
Rates are reasonable with a choice of
$39 Full Hook up 
$35 Electric/ Water
$25 Primitive
All sites have a paved parking picnic table and fire pit.
Restrooms are available and the shower is $0.25 a minute
First come basis run by NID (Nevada Irrigation District).

Distant road noise can be heard from i80.
Lake is a 5 minute walk from campsite.

They don't have enough space for the amount of people they allow in.Boat ramp is always busy, lots of people park in No Parking fire lanes, bathrooms need more attending to
