Not your average sports bar! Decor is cool and cosy. Booths, low lighting, exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings. There is some excellent artwork to admire too. When there isn't a major match on there is a great soundtrack while the sport is on the big screens. There's a pool table upstairs and table football downstairs if you're feeling competitive or the event being screened isn't your thing. Staff are friendly and attentive, they will serve you at your seats without being too in your face. You can order via QR code too if you're that way inclined. The cocktails are great and on offer all January!. There's a selection of decent snacks loaded nachos, garlic bread as well as butties and other interesting sounding bits Deffo a great addition to the Albert Dock
It was fine for a quick coupe of drinks, and would be a great place to watch sports, with large TV's dotted around the place. Nice staff, and a small menu offering various snacks. Recommended
We visited here at lunch time on a Sunday and it was very quiet. The food steak frites sandwich and cheesy fries was delicious and the toilets are immaculately clean.
Ordered steak sandwich and was totally disappointed. Dry and tasteless. Do not recommend! Place was looking good tho.
Had a day out with my husband and having seen online that this place has cocktail happy hour decided to give it a try. It was honestly a joke. Two cocktails £14 for half a glass flute of cocktail, for want of a better word. Looked like breakfast small orange juice, worrying thing that these jokes of a cocktail will rise to £9+each after 7. Save your money and go to Wildwood on church st. Best cocktails around. The one star I gave was because the server was pleasant.
Amazing venue, and had a fantastic Christmas party here! The staff couldn’t do enough and made it such a special event. Ed was awesome on the run up to the party to ensure we had everything we needed and to make sure it was a success. We’ll be back for more fun soon!
I used The Longshot Bar for a joint 30th do on Saturday night and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. From early communication with Ed, who helped me plan the whole event, to the service and support on the night, everything was was excellent. The bar is lovely and cosy inside, plenty of space with fairy lights, sofas, pool tables and music. Ed helped set up balloons and decorations for us before arriving and gave us the whole upstairs with personalised screens etc. We ordered the Champions food platter for 23 people, great selection of food including vegetarian options needed. Highly recommended for anyone hosting an event, we will definitely be using again in the future.
What a great experience we had a our Christmas party here in December, the food was amazing and great service from the staff when getting drinks from the bar there was never a queue .I would definitely recommend.Also a big thank you to Ed who helped with every request we had.
Fantastic bar for not only adults, but kids as well. The staff were very accommodating and it was a great place to watch the football.
Had our daughters 21st upstairs, great place, friendly staff and drinks brought upstairs to us. Food was amazing and boss tunes from the DJ. Definitely recommend for a party or just to chill out and have a drink.
