Story

We provide research information sources to help you with your genealogy research, civil service and standardized test preparation, car repair and many other subjects. In the Library we provide access to computer workstations, scanning, and faxing service and provide friendly and knowlegable one-on-one assistance.

For several years I have taken painting classes at the library. They are educational, fun and reasonable. All of a sudden these classes have been canceled. The  reasoning is utter nonsense. All "her" classes are all filled almost immediately, she often has a waiting list, full classes fill up our small parking lot. Isn't that the goal of any good library.... that its patrons USE the library?  Longwood library SHAME ON YOU. I have been a patron since the library was part of Billy Blake and the shelves were covered with plastic to protect the books from all the leaks. You may think that the library has come a long way from those days but taking away a popular class proves otherwise. AGAIN SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!

Overall clean nice place to study and do your work. After searching  building I noticed a lot of friendly workers seeking to help  others. 

Great place to bring your kids, study, ect

How the librarians and the staff are kind and helpful and I think that everyone should go to the Longwood public library cause how nice every one is

Longwood library is one of the best libraries on Long Island. The staff is super friendly and wonderful. The material selection is quite large and anything you cannot find in house can be found in another library on the island. Every time i go i look for Brian, a wonderful librarian who loves his job and serving the public.

You.  Could ask  the librarian to do a back flip and they will do a quadruple  back tuck wind mill back flip
