We had a great time at Loon Point!  The resort was peaceful and quiet but had plenty for us to enjoy with the beach - kayaks, paddle boards and water trampoline. We stayed in the new Jack Pine cabin which was beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the eagles and hearing the lions. John and Sherrie were very friendly and helpful as well.  A great, relaxing week away from home!

We loved staying at your resort!  It was so very quiet and peaceful!   Our lodge was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals for our family of 12!  Loved the second refrigerator in the screened in porch.  The kids and adults enjoyed the kayaks, and paddle boards and of course the trampoline and pad.  It was so fun to sit around our fire pit in the evening also.  Good memories were made.  Thank you.

Loon Point Resort is a phenomenal place to vacation! We have 3 young kids and they loved every minute of being there and the owners were so welcoming and kind. The lake was beautiful, the beach area was clean, the cabin (white pine) was spacious, fun and had absolutely everything we needed. Great family vacation, beautiful resort!

Just a great place to spend a quiet family vacation. We were in the White Pine cabin set apart from the main resort. Great place for families both small and extended. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Private beach area for the kids just added this year.  Lake is super quiet with only private access.  Great view of the lake, eagles, loons and sunsets from the cabin.  Made for two great summer vacations in a row and counting. Can't wait to go back next year. Highly recommended.

We recently found an advertisement for Loon Point Resort and thought we would try it out for our anniversary.  Located north of Grand Rapids, it was a lovely drive for us.  Once we got there we were greeted by Sherrie and shown to our cabin.  As I walked into our cabin I told my husband that this is the cabin of my dreams! We had the best time exploring the grounds and found that John and Sherrie have thought of every fun toy to play with in the water at no extra cost!  My favorite part of the whole experience was sitting in the screen porch overlooking the lake as the sun set.  John told us upon checking out that Sherrie changes the decor in the cabins to match the seasons.  I was so impressed with every detail put into this lovely cabin and I sincerely would recommend this experience for any family.
