Been coming here since I was a kid! Just very peaceful and tranquil! Staff is friendly, just love it!

It's a nice stop on bike rides I take to Lopez Lake and High Mountain Road. Access is free to bicyclists, and there's a bathroom right at the park entrance. Unfortunately the water fountain where I refill my water bottles seems to be out of commission now. Nice view along the road, but the water level is very low now.
