Women Health office is the one I repeatedly have the worst experience with at LAMC. I can not get answers to the questions, I can not get the paperwork done on time (after 2 weeks of waiting, I was told to wait another week, and only when I required instead of asking, it was done in FIVE minutes). If a suggestion to look up the answer online is the one I should follow instead of getting information from the doctor, then maybe the least we can do is to follow the recommendations published online? Otherwise the selective attitude is quite puzzling... Doctor Combs rushes through her 10 minutes appointments trying her best to make them 2 minutes (last time she succeeded). How many back to back appointments do I need to make to have my questions answered or at least to have enough time to ask them? (here I'd like to add that Jeanne always takes her time with patients) If the office can not provide enough attention to the clients with the current stuff, why not hire an additional doctor/midwife, as the service as it is now is below all standards. I would like to add that this is the first negative review I ever wrote, people usually notice how patient I am with difficult people and how easily I avoid conflicts.

Women's Health at LAMC is the worst doctor's office I've ever experienced. The level of care is extremely low and the office is most concerned with making money. I have had to undergo unnecessary tests (e.g., pregnancy tests - without even being asked if I was sexually active) repeatedly just so they can charge more. Routine procedures that can/should be done "in office" are considered surgery. This allows the hospital and Dr. Coombs office to charge an obscene amount of $$ unnecessarily. It's completely ridiculous. Although the office staff appears nice, I have overheard conversations of the staff ridiculing patients whom they just got off the phone with. Plus, they have tried to pressure me into making several unnecessary appointments (more $$!). Dr. Coombs is a horrible doctor who doesn't take time for her patients. Jeanne Malchow is reasonable and seems to care, but she is not a doctor. And, the ultrasound tech is extremely rude. I would steer clear of this office altogether!!

The staff (doctor, nurses, midwife) are kind, knowledgeable and just generally wonderful!
