The temple here is outstanding! There is a wonderful presence here of the Holy Spirit. As you walk around temple grounds, you will be able to feel it. It is a refuge from the world despite being right on Santa Monica Blvd. There is a little visitor center you can check out to learn more. The people are so nice and there's no pressure. It is a great place to learn.

Beautiful grounds and well kept. The Visitors Center was awesome too and conveniently located nearby that we were able to use the restrooms. Lots of eateries nearby that we were able to just drive to. Great location and a place to take refuge.

Rude and obnoxious after hours security guard here--meaner than a junkyard dog! A friend and I drove up the hill after midnight one night to find the parking lot is closed after 10:00 PM and there was a rod iron fence across its opening. NO PROBLEM. We just wanted to get out, look at the beautiful building, and take a picture, AND LEAVE. The security guard came out, yelling and screaming at us, saying they were closed and not allowed to stand there--not even to take a picture--and threatened to call the police. Then he lied to us. A MORMON lying? He told us that even though it WAS after midnight, there was a HUGE meeting going on and that we needed to clear the area because they would all be coming out in FIVE MINUTES! We waited down the street for 20 minutes, suspecting that he was lying, but of course, not a car came out. They are VERY RUDE there!

The Temple here in Los Angeles is a great place to come and enjoy a moment of peace in the middle of the city. Even though people who are not members of the church cannot go into the actual temple, it's worth a visit to the grounds to feel the spirit of the place.

The Temple grounds are stunningly beautiful and quite. The variety of flowers, views, and water features make it a perfect setting to contemplate life, the creation, and feel God's love. The architecture is unique and helps the onlooker look heavenward. The interior is beautiful and carries forward the function of the Temples.
