This company has the WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. My wife called to book this and at first it seemed simple enough.
She wanted to take advantage of the complimentary hotel pickup in Anaheim, CA near Disneyland as that was the primary destination for her trip.
She went to their website and looked at their "Complimentary Hotel List". This lists at least 50 hotels in the Anaheim zip code. She chose a hotel about a block away from the hotel she was staying at (which wasn't on the list).
The operator set a $60 charge for pickup in the confirmation email.
I promptly called back in order to rectify the situation and was told by the woman on the phone in very broken English that they charge $60 for that hotel pickup. I explained to her that it was on the complimentary hotel list and she had no clue what to do from there.
She handed the phone over to a supposed manager who abruptly told me that she would remove the charge (I felt as though it was simply an attempt to rush me off the phone). I then asked for a followup confirmation email with the charge removed so that I could have validation of the charge that would be made.
Again, rushing me off the phone she said "Your previous email is the confirmation."
I explained that this did me no good because it still had the $60 additional pickup charge on it. Frustratingly she said "Fine, yes we'll send another."
24 hours later and no followup email, so my wife calls back to confirm.
A man took her call this time, again in broken English with a COMPLETELY different story saying that due to a $10 promo code she used they cannot take the $60 pickup charge off. But then he changed the story mid-sentence saying that they do NOT offer complimentary pickup to Anaheim at all. I took the phone and explained to him that they have 50+ hotels listed in Anaheim on the Comp Hotel List.
He then changed his story again and said it was because of the promo code. At this point I said, fine take off the damn promo code and give us the $50 difference so that she'd get complimentary pickup. He obliged but then quoted us a total that was only $27 less than the previous total.

At this point I canceled the entire order.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Not only did they not care to back up their policies of picking up customers, but they also did not care to make corrections to their mistakes. They constantly attempted to rush me off the phone and obviously tell me what I wanted to hear, with ZERO intention of actually carrying it out (which was proven in the lack of secondary confirmation email and then finding out that the 'manager' who'd VERBALLY CONFIRMED the correction, NEVER MADE IT).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I would not recommend LA Sightseeing Tours. I have been on several hop-on, hop-off tours before, and this was sub par compared to what I have experienced in the past. The bus is an older, one-story closed roof bus (with open sides) that has a driver and an audio-recorded tour that is played during the drive. One of my drivers forgot to stop at two stops in a row (one of which I wanted to get off at), and at least 2 of the 4 bus drivers I had were looking at a map/directions while driving, presumably to make sure they took the right route--so I assume both were new. Only one of the 4 drivers I had even spoke to the passengers, although tips were encouraged anyway. 

My main goal in going on this tour was to see the hollywood sign, which was barely visible while driving on a leg of the tour in between buildings. I got out at a stop that said you could see it, but had to ask people on the street for directions to even find an opening for it. 

Overall, it seems the tour was oversold--most of the "sights" were not much to look at, especially without a knowledgeable tour guide, and most of the stops had very little to do if were you to get off the bus for an hour. I would not recommend this tour.

I had an amazing experience using LA Sightseeing. The driver had a great sense of humor that fit right into the experience of passing through all the entertainment sights throughout Hollywood. I was able to get some amazing photos of all the iconic locations. All in all I would definitely use this touring company and recommend it to my friends and family visiting and wanting to see L.A's most popular locations.

Got left behind together with some of the other tour members. We were at the pickup spot 3 minutes before the scheduled departure but by then the bus had already left. Took us 3 hours to get back with public transport and no refund or compensation was to be seen. The tour itself was also not very exciting, mostly looking at fences and gates to houses where supposedly famous people like shirley temples parents used to live.
