My son (who is in preschool) used to go to a semi-structured school which did not work well for him. We didn't know how much a school could have an impact on a 3-year olds temperament and behavior. He was acting very grumpy, not wanting to go to school, refusing to do activities, and genuinely lost an interest in learning. He started attending Los Gatos Christian a couple months ago and it has been such a blessing! He is happy, excited to learn, and most of all - so much more positive about everything! Highly, highly recommend this school. I had looked at a few dozen schools trying to figure out if play based, Reggio, or semi-structured would work. I was really impressed with LGCS - the teachers are happy, loving, and very organized. Everything runs very smoothly. The lunches are organic and healthy! There is even STEM lab included in tuition, which is at a very affordable cost for Silicon Valley.
