This is a solid place for some Mexican food in Safford. I find myself visiting Los Jilbertos a few times a week when working at the Morenci Mine. So far I've had a few of their breakfast burritos and their tortas. The breakfast burritos are so big that they're often a breakfast/lunch burrito. Can't go wrong with a carne asada or carnitas burrito. The torta is a traditional Mexican sandwich in a soft loaf of bread (similar consistency to Hawaiian bread). These are an amazing dinner... Again, can't go wrong with a carne asada or carnitas torta. The bread is lightly toasted making the sandwich a great combination of textures and flavors. Keep in mind, they are CASH ONLY. Also, their full menu is available 24/7.

Amazing food. The green sauce and homemade tortillas are incredible. Gotta pay with cash though, no cards allowed.

Sorry this was ment for Shell gas station: They got good gas but the got monopoly on gas prices since they own all the 6 gas stations here in Safford. We were told our gas supply comes ftom the west coast but as soon as Hervey hit gulf Coast price went up $.24 N is now .30 higher. Is that price fixing or Gouging?
