We came here a few days ago and left disappointed because my coworker had said this place was really good. First off, I just wanna say that the food was pretty good. Not "excellent and dying to go back" but was pretty average. The red salsa had a very strange flavor but the green was good, served with freshly fried chips and beans with cheese. Second, the service was terrible. Our first waitress was a disaster, never bothered to refill our waters, and took her time to take our order. But it's a small place, so I didn't expect too much. The second waitress was much more attentive and kind of took over for the entire room. Thirdly, the whole room was filled with smoke from the kitchen, they had one A/C running in the wall and the fans weren't even on, nor was a window opened. Not to mention the flies upon flies zooming around and landing every chance they got. Fourthly, there was NO light in the bathroom, it didn't work, and you had to walk through this mess of a room to get to it. Wouldn't take very much to do better. Just saying.

Don’t let the newly remodeled building fool you this place is not what it used to be. Service was awful, took at least 30+ minutes to get food, I asked for more water and it never showed up, waitress did not make eye contact, and the food was way too greasy. Chips and salsa were great-that’s about it. I’ll stick to ordering carry out from Los Pinos for the time being.

Would not come back here. Their signs advertise beer, but we were told that they do not have it, or any other alcohol for that matter. Also, I asked for queso with my chips, and they said they do not have it. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have queso?!

Food's good. I really like the salsa. Has a good kick to it. I got the sopes with adobada (pork). It has their green salsa on it with sour cream, cheese and lettuce. It was very tasty.
