We stopped by the Lost Dog Cafe for a quick lunch on our way to Finger Lakes. I picked this place because of its location and good reviews online. We were able to find metered roadside parking easily. The cafe was relatively large, and on a Thursday, it was moderately busy. We had Fried Calamari for appetizer. I liked the presentation, but the serving size was small. We shared the Roast Beef Sliders. The flavor was mild. The staff was friendly, but food was only average.

The food was great, the waitress that we had was really nice, and the atmosphere is very cool. You feel like you just jumped into an Andy Warhol painting. Even the bathrooms are colorful. I highly recommend for anyone in the area and I will come back if I get the chance.

Lost Dog never fails to be a great time. The food is always fantastic. Many in my family have special dietary needs so we often choose the Lost Dog as they are extremely accommodating in this regard. Servers will go out of their way to find out the specific ingredients of a dish and the source of the ingredients. While most of the time the service is prompt. Plenty of drink options for those looking for a cocktail.

How can you ever go wrong with The Lost Dog. Once again the Rigatoni a la Vodka (Old school with Cayenne Pepper) was outstanding. Had the Berry with Brie as an appetizer that was fantastic. I just wish they had more dark beers and maybe a few less IPAs. Kyle is the best waiter. If you can get a table with him you're in for a great evening.

We ate here on the last night of our honeymoon, and after a week of great meals from Canada throughout upstate New York this one may have stolen the show. We like to linger when we eat out, and even though they were clearly busy we never felt rushed. The four courses we enjoyed came well paced, and although I can't remember our waitress's name she was fantastic. The food and ambiance were top notch and the drinks menu is adventurous enough without being too foreign. A++ must stop for anyone coming through Binghamton.
