I personally hold a special bond with this restaurant. When I moved to West Orange years ago, you know how hard it is to find a good restaurant. Be it Asian or American. Well venturing out I came across the lotus and I was impressed from that day on. The style and the flavor is different from any other. Plus I came to know them and their children. They where my kids ages and things clicked. My family was raised on lotus and not fried chicken wings. Although they are good. Lol. But the many dishes and speciality dishes you will love. Peace and love. Enjoy your meal.

First, The lady at the front desk is very rude, if it wasn't for my cousin, i would have cancelled my order and walked out. Second, their food went from a 3 to a 1. Let me elaborate, their chicken tasted funny and their rice looked like dog food. Lastly, they charged me extra for the food i ordered and when I called them, the lady argued and screamed at me over the phone and said it wasn't a big deal. I worked for every penny i earned just like her and that was so out of line. So do yourself a favor and don't order there.

Worst Restaurant Ever!!

I should of knew something was up when they had no spare rib tips!! Really???
I ordered from the printed menu on the counter, fried rice and chicken wings. I showed the guy who took my order what I wanted from the menu.. When food was ready, I went  to pay. It was more money then the menu stated. Like $1 more. He said prices changed and they need a new menu.. that's false advertisement. If he knew the prices were different he should have told me. That's deceitful.
Food was awful. Fried rice  was not even fried rather it looked like they added coloring to it, to give it a brown color. Chicken wings tasted old and not fresh. Food was also very salty. I hope this places closes down because they are dishonest because of there prices and the food taste horrible.

They cool. Not the best chinese food I've had, but I would go back. Kitchen is clean which is comforting.
