Good overall located in milk market which is cute venue with different options. They have happy hour as well and drinks which was nice to have. Standard tip but overall great experience. Had the lous chicken sandwich and wine.
Ignore the older reviews! The new Lou's is fantastic across the board. Friendly staff and good service, and everything we ate was amazing. Chicken was very juicy with a light, crispy coating. Would highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Very average chicken, one is better off going to Chick-fil-A. The service was pitiful. We sat at the bar and our meals were placed 10 ft away from us. Considering there was only one other person there it's surprising the staff couldn't make it those few extra feet. The Milk Market itself has a great vibe and is definitely worth the stop, just don't go here.
The Brussels sprouts were quite good fries were also good BUT This was one of the worst chicken experiences ever the crust was extremely hard the inside dry not good .someone ask if everything was good we told him not so much the response quite humorous. OH, yes that's it OH, very Disappointed!!!
Food arrived super quick and was piping hot. Denver milk market has a sweet table order set up with QR codes and table delivery. Be prepared as there are service charges on top of menu prices, but pretty typical Denver prices.
Had been in the milk Market before and was excited to try this place. What a disappointment. Got the 6 piece medium spice chicken tenders and tater tot meal. Expecting at least dipping sauce pickles or something else to go with. Ton of fried food. Looked good however questionable cleanliness and poor customer service. Came about 9 pm on a Saturday and no one was to be found to order. Waited several minutes at the register before an employee showed up acting annoyed that we were here. We asked if they were still open and guy reluctantly said yes and took our order. The food was all made to order and tasted good however having full visibility to the kitchen I wondered how clean things were. Floor was dirty with squished tater tots, raw chicken sitting in batter and flour mixture not covered. My spouse ordered wings and about halfway through eating his wings noticed one appeared to have spit on it. At this point we were disgusted and decided to leave. Huge disappointment and won’t be coming back.
Lou's is disappointing at best - we would've been better off with a rotisserie chicken from a gas station. The chicken was bone dry and the skin was like crispy, flavorless paper - my husband said it was like the turkey from Christmas Vacation and he was SO right. There was also very little meat on our half-bird - two small bites worth of meat on the drumstick. The mac and cheese was the only saving grace of the meal. Not to mention the service was terrible. Should've been our first clue. The cashier was at the opposite end of the restaurant, on his phone. We made a game out of counting the minutes go by - SEVEN minutes before he finally looked up and saw us. Then he took his sweet time moseying over to take our order, still on his phone. If you're in the business of mediocrity, Lou's is for you!
The chicken here is really crispy-- definitely one of the best place I have ever had. I love spicy food and the hot did not disappoint. We got the mac and cheese as the side dish and it was good as well. I have tried the waffle and chicken here as well as the chicken sandwich. Both are really good but I like the waffle and chicken better for sure. Located inside Denver Milk Market which have a cool system of ordering. You pick a table, scan the code on the table to order and someone will bring your food out. There's a service charge of $3 that gets added to your credit card when ordering this way.
Repulsive. Overcooked, flavorless, and nobody bothered to ask if we were enjoying the food. They either don’t care, or they know it’s awful. The chicken seemed very dry despite the thick coating of oil. I can’t believe I paid $16 for this. They don’t deserve a location inside the Milk Market.
Wings are melt in your mouth tender. We loved the Buffalo sauce. We dug in so quick that i didn’t even get a chance for a picture. The 1/2 pound is enough for 2-3 people for an appetizer. Ranch i will say needs some TLC.
