Our group of 6 drive from FLA to see a show at Iron City. We stopped at Lou's based on a recommendation from a co-worker in AL. The only thing I can say is wish we went there sooner rather than later. What a great atmosphere. Super friendly bartenders that are more than willing to satisfy your thirst with many recommendations. Mike was super nice to us when we said we had to go grab some food he gave us many suggestions on where to go-even offered a ride if he had taken his mini van to work that day. It has many (50) beer choices along with a full liquor bar. If you live there,just moved there or are passing through like us I strongly recommend Lou's for a good time. Thanks Mike!

A cozy place to enjoy intimate company and share a hand crafted cocktail. This historic location has been serving patrons fine spirits for 30 years so they have obviously been doing it right. The barkeeps are top-notch; friendly, attentive, and genuine. It's an oasis in the middle of the bustling nightlife that encompasses it.

Really odd bar. But a fun experience overall? It's really too bright, but it is a place to go once in a while for an interesting time.

I'm not certain if the bartender was the owner or not, but the gentleman who was going to serve us (a group of 10 people) lost our business as we walked out of the bar due to his absolutely abhorrent attitude and rude treatment of his customers. We will not be back.

5 f***ing stars. Best bar in Birmingham. Whenever I have children, I'm naming all nine of them Lou - boy or girl. Doesn't matter
