Batavia location seemed so much better and more consistent and was actually impressed with their pizzas. This location in South Elgin not at all the same….had so much sauce too was gross. First delivery they couldn’t find me so they left at neighbors door without even notifying me so it just sat there at a random door getting cold hardening up. Not sure what delivery driver thought that was an intelligent decision just placing it at any random door. Then I called and actually found the cold pizza and it looked like u see in the picture can’t make this stuff up. They did provide me a refund and a $20 credit but that second chance pizza wasn’t good at all was again very disappointed. Two times and both very disappointing can’t go back. Wiseguys I believe is the best option in this area I have found.

First time last time? Just Meh-so so.. Im Sicilian so food is a passion for me, i live a few blocks away so i figured id give them a try. Pasta, meatballs and bread stick..pasta was either over cooked or sitting it was very limp, sauce was kinda bland..needs garlic and more seasonings, meatballs were also bland but decent sized, single warm bread stick a bit underwelming with just a bit of coarse salt on it. A hunk of fresh bread or toasted garlic bread would be better. All in all not awful, just not great. Better than Ragu. At 12 min was fast, but in reality reminded me of o.k. cafeteria Italian food. Will I go back?..probably not. Make some improvements and maybe we can try again.
I had a wonderful time at this amazing restaurant, the food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was delightful. I brought me and my family and we got a peperoni pizza and we all loved it! The price was quite fair as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for family events. In particular Jonathan our cashier was a delight, His warmness and Charisma that really put a cherry on top of the experience. I would give a 6 stars if I could. -August D. Preston
Friendly atmosphere with excellent Italian cuisine! Definitely will choose to eat at this place again. The family atmosphere and the flair for great Italian dishes was displayed beautifully from fresh and vibrant house salad to our pizzas and pasta. Non dairy pizza choices were available for one family member which was a delicious bonus!
You never know what you’re going to get walking up to a counter to order food, especially when it should be sit down. Louie Angelo’s is a treat. Food came out hot and fresh. It was on par with places like Olive Garden, aside from the unlimited salad and breadsticks. Prices are on par, little bit cheaper but portions are also smaller. All in all, not a bad experience for a relatively quick sit down dinner.
The food is excellent! We ordered some food for a family party and we kept on being asked where did we get it. The food was a hit! We will definitely order again. The people working there were very friendly and helpful which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place.
Last week I tried Louie Angelo's pizza and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was very thin and crispy, even the middle pieces were crispy. Nice flavor to the sauce and good Italian sausage. I will definitely order pizza from them again.
The food was good, but for the price you pay, there should be table service. You have to go up to a counter and order your food like McDonalds. They do bring your food to the table, but that's it. You have to go get your own plates and silverware. What got me was that they asked at the counter if I wanted to add a tip, which I left 20%. That was a mistake for the service received.
We used to come here a lot but won’t be returning. We order the same thing every time we come and it’s normally around $70 dollars. Today we ordered and it was $92 dollars!!! That is ridiculous for pasta, chicken, breadsticks and mozzarella sticks. $70 was pushing it but we continued to come and support, $90? Absolutely not.
