We've been coming here for years but this whole summer they have been very slow...tonight for example, one waitress came and took orders for 4 waters, we waited 15 minutes and nothing showed up. We went and got another waitress who didn't even have a pen and paper.  The past 4 times this summer have been the same way, when we come isn't even when they're super busy, there's maybe 6 other tables there when we are. Awesome place but poor service, waitress' need to go through more training or something.

We spent Labor day weekend at the Lakeside Inn next to Louie's Bristo we always had Great Service and wonderful food, the four days we spent there.. Tim and his crew did a wonderful  job. CUSTOMER SERVICE was excellent. .. The Smoked Brisket was excellent, and the Cuban was the best I have ever had!! (And let me tell you I have been to Florida many time and this is better than anything I ever had there... Tim and his crew are AWSOME.. Please stop in and experience this Great Lakeside atmosphere. ..

Great environment! The food was very good, my wife had the homemade grilled pizza and I had the Iowa pork chop that was grilled and so tender. Chef Tim said he had put them in a brine, making them so tender.  Do yourself a favor and go there.

I was served 4 pieces of brisket that looked and tasted like leather and my husband was served ribs with a bug stuck to them. We didn't complain we just asked for pizza instead. While waiting for our pizza the manager, maybe owner told us it's normal to have bugs get stuck to the smoked food and that my brisket wasn't that tough and if they would have cooked longer they would've been fine. I couldn't cut it with a knife. Then they forgot our pizza and we had to wait 20 more mins. I mean I get it stuff happens but, why would you try telling us bugs are normal and tell me how my food tasted? We'll never go back.

I had the Famous Cuban for lunch and it was amazing. They kinda skimped on the fries but they had a great flavor. The sandwich was packed with enough meat that I left very satisfied.
