It is difficult to believe that an agency whose mandate is to serve the public and, particularly those who hold any type of prescribing licenses NEVER, EVER, answer the phones. I have been calling for 2 weeks within the hours that their recording shows non they are open, but I have not been able to leave a message, nor get anyone to answer a phone. I have tried every phone number I have found on the internet for the Board of Pharmacy and for the Louisiana Department of Health, but NO ONE answers their phones. Many messages go to voicemails that are full, so one is not able to leave a message. Talk about NON SERVICE to the public!!!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! I'm so sick of our government using COVID as an excuse to NOT WORK! I sent an email to say I was having a problem paying my CDS fee online, and I did get an email reply from Lee Taranto. However, it did absolutely nothing to help me navigate the website or figure out what I was doing wrong. These people are useless!

I wish i can give zero stars to the Board Of Pharmacy. The employees are lazy and dont try to help you ! You ask them questions we have too send a email and aint no telling when they will respond.

I can honestly say that if you need to have anything completed professionally and with feedback, hope that you get Lee Taranto as your representative. He has assisted me twice. If it was not for him, I definitely would have given one star. Thank you Mr. Taranto!!!  The reason for low rating, no one answers the phoneexcept the time I Mr. Taranto did. One representative, I will not mention her name as we allhave bad days, was very rude and unprofessional.  I hope I do not experience this in the future.

I've been a pharmacy tech since 2004 and I haven't had a problem with no one. I have gotten to know more than one and everyone I spoke with whether over the phone or in person was very nice to me. In 2004 when I became a technician I called and happen to call and my license had just became available to be mailed out to me. Then lady I spoke ro on the phone had told me that my license would be mailed out and I said to her can i come get them. She said sure I was at the pharmacy board before opening the next morning wait to be helped and within 20 minutes after opening I was driving off with my license in my hand. Even when I moved back from Georgia and wanted to reinstate I was helped in a timely matter. Sometimes you just have to make moves if you want things done on your time. God said make that first step and he will take it from there. Constantly calling and showing up is better than wait to be served without pay. Thanks to my pharmacy board of Louisiana staff. I'm licensed equipped.  Always on-time

Painless Process, the lady I didn’t get her name at the window was very helpful, gave me options that would expedite the process and made the entire experience all the better. I was there for 8am when they opened and from start to finishincluding going to the State Police for CBC and Fingerprints and bringing the form back to Pharmacy Board I was done and back on my way1 hour drive within 45 minutes!

So I recently moved back to Louisiana from Texas my cpht license expired on 2016 which is fine as I moved out of town and had no plans to return .But due to family events I am back I contacted the board of Pharmacy in regards to my relicensure and I was sent out a reinstatement package upon reading the packet I discovered they want me to pay $250 to the board of administration and $250 for reinstatement and a slew of other things as well as meet with the board to prove to them I deserve to be reinstated is this standard for license lapses or license suspension either way needless to say I will continue to stay Texas certified I'm in Shreveport so I'm like 15 minutes away from the Texas state line there is no Pharmacy job in Louisiana for a Technician that pays enough to send your technician through all of this it's like you're being punished for moving..

Always quick and friendly service. I once missed a sheet in my application so they allowed me to fax it so I wouldn't have to make another commute. The staff is always kind and accommodating.

Service is horrible! My papers have been there for over a month ! And I went through the same thing with my candidates license!! No one answers the phone and when u get frustrated from your papers being there so long they give you a whole lot of attitude ! I’ve called today atleast 10 times and not one time did I get an answer ! Just be aware!

If youre planning to go in person right now, dont waste your trip. Office is closed to the public and they dont answer calls
