My bank account was emptied by a department for a State I don’t even live in. I was in the military at the time in Texas they claim I owed them money. I sent my DD214 to prove where I was. I’ve been calling for 3 weeks and finally they said my money was reimbursed to an address in Louisiana and I don’t know who that address belongs to. They refuse to stop payment on the check and issue it to my actual address. I ask to speak to a supervisor and they said I have to wait 72 hours!! What the actual hell is going on??

Same happening here. they put a levy on my account for no reason when I don't even live in Louisiana and have nothing to do with that state since 2000 when I had a partial state dues of $12 that I already paid and have a proof for. Left 3 messages at their DOR debt collector office and have not received any phone call yet. Shame on them to bother people and get their money for no reason whatsoever only to realize their mistake later and then not paying them back whatever they took. Fraud.
