Story

At Louisiana Veterinary Specialists, we believe that a compassionate touch, combined with advanced surgical procedures can deliver a profound impact on the overall health of your pet. We’ve created our facility with the strong desire to raise the bar in specialty and advanced veterinary care.

Dr. Bordelon has special interests in innovative techniques involving orthopedics, neurosurgery, wound healing, reconstruction surgical techniques, minimally invasive fracture management (MIPO), and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has authored book chapters and scientific articles as well. Dr. Bordelon has presented lectures and laboratories at many local, state, regional, and national meetings. He is also an active member in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, Veterinary Wound Management Society (past-President), the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, as well as a variety of other societies and organizations.
