San Diego has great vegan/vegetarian restaurants and that includes this one which is a vegan take-out and dine-in space. I had take-out today, Feb 2022 and it was really beautiful. The place isn’t bad looking, quite fresh and seems really clean. The front staff was efficient and well mannered. I would definitely go again, without hesitation. Parking was alright, I went just after lunch and found a space without trouble. Basically, it’s a parking lot shared by multiple stores and a laundromat. Enjoy if you go!
The food is great and vegan! I could never get sick of this if I ate this every single day! YUM! My 11 yr daughter Rina said For me, it was a bomb! I rad the royal noodle soup, it's a bit spicy and fill of flavors. Service was fast and clean restroom. Wish they have the same menu in phoenix Vegetarian options: Yummy food
It is so hard to do vegan and Asian cuisine without being stuck with tofu... Loving Hut has nailed it though... Flavor's on point texture is on point. They've knocked it out of the park! The chicken substitute used on the lemongrass was incredible and maintained the Asian flavor without sacrificing texture. The fried rice, I've had vegetarian but never vegan... Again, they got the flavor and texture down solid. Now I've buried the lead. The egg rolls were unbelievable. Both the fried and the steamed are probably some of the best I've had vegan and non-vegan. Ate them before I realized I didn't have a picture
Loving Hut is one of my all-time favorite vegan chains and this location is no exception. The food was absolutely delicious, I have always liked everything that I have ever ordered on their menu. The Pho is amazing. I loved their spring rolls as well. The employees were very nice and helpful. If you are vegan or love pho, you have to try this place. Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan, so if you are a vegetarian you definitely could find things to eat here but they will of course be vegan. Kid-friendliness: The menu items here are more special to you, but if your child likes pho, Vietnamese foods/soup then they should like this restaurant Parking: There's plenty of parking at this location, even during peak lunch time we were able to find parking no problem. There are several businesses next door as well which means there's more parking space available. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up the sidewalk, and no stairs in the establishment with plenty of room for wheelchair users to sit at tables. Dietary restrictions: There are so many options on this menu, I believe everyone would be able to find something to try.
We loved our meals! We got the Ocean Tacos and the Cha Cha Garlic Noodles. The place was super quiet and could use a sound system though. Hopefully the next visit they'll have some tunes playing. Definitely will be returning.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Loving Hut is a vegan restaurant with an Asian fusion menu that features many mock meats. I ordered the impossible BBQ noodles, which is a vegan Vietnamese vermicelli salad with impossible beef strips and spring rolls. It was extremely good, but I would recommend ordering the impossible beef crispy rolls appetizer as there weren't many spring roll pieces in the noodle dish. They also have vegan marshmallow cookies!
The staff recommended the coconut tofu and rice dish and it was so crispy and flavorful. It really did not disappoint. I’m excited to come back and try some more dishes! It’s hard to find good vegan food and I think this place has done it.
We ordered for pho thaiC chicken sandwich and lucky chowmein.. very sweet and lacked flavour. Not good for vegetarians who’ve never tried meat cause it looked too beefy and repulsive to us as 100% vegetarians. At every morsel it tasted like meat and that’s not a good idea for someone who’s never tried meat before. I wish vegan didn’t have to imitate or replicate every meaty dish.
We came here a few times during our stay in San Diego. We highly recommend the garlic butter fried rice, garlic noodles with shrimp, the cheese bread, cheese wontons, and the crispy rolls and don’t miss out on the lucky cold brew! Amazing service and vegan choices here.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
I needed a quick lunch when the conference I'm attending provided an undesirable vegan option. Tried the impossible BBQ noodles, which is a Bun/vermicelli noodle salad. It did not disappoint. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Vegetarian options: All vegan
