Noblesville Lowe's is not the same Lowe's it was when it first come to town. It seems that if Lowe's can buy it cheaper they will buy it cheaper and get rid of something that was good. I shop quite often there a lot in the electrical and plumbing department. The selection has dwindled down quite a bit for a big box store. They hardly have half the selection that Menards has In them departments. However the staff there are a bunch of wonderful people to work with. You will have a hard time finding a more friendly bunch of people to deal with when you need help. I do enjoy shopping there I am there at least seven or eight times a week.

I visited the store today with my 61 year old father to pick up some heavy items he had purchased the day before. He forgot his receipt which was his mistake. My experience with other hardware stores was items purchased with a credit card could be looked up in the store. After several attempts by name and number the checkout girl said she would need the receipt. My mother, 30 minutes away, had the receipt and text picture of the front and back. After sending it she had to go into a meeting and would not be available. That s our first 20 minutes. A store manager comes by and is called out to by the girl. He calmy listens to the situation but visually does nothing towards helping. At that point dad has to use The restroom. After he walks away the manager says to another employee he still doesn't know what's going on but walks away still doing nothing. The girl took a quick glance at the texted receipt to say the number she needed was near the bottom edge that has been cut off. My father called mom back for around 10 minutes until she was able to respond. Mom provided the number on the edge of the receipt to the girl. At that point were told a name and number no where near my parents has been entered in the stores system. Luckily the pallet of goods has the correct name. We're told it will be brought up soon. We're 40 minutes in so dad needs to use The restroom. On his way back he sees 3 employees visibly looking for goods in the aisle next to where he sees his items. He points them out and walks back to the front of the store 10 minutes later an employee brings the items up on a cart. He asks for a signature and says were good to go. My dad says well need help taking it out, he's 61 and I do my best to keep him from lifting. The employee says he's too busy and walks away.

Only complaint is not accepting Android or Apple pay. Never have I come here and not found what I needed. That one convenience factor is missing though. (In case of a forgotten debit card perhaps.)

We were interested in flooring from Lowe's. We paid the measuring fee and the gentleman from the subcontractor was very nice and seemed knowledgable. We were told we would receive an itemized quote with totals for removing old flooring ourselves and if we had the subcontractor do it. When the estimate came to Lowe's, the gentleman in the flooring department said it wasn't itemized and that *surprise* the price on the sheet vinyl we had picked out the week before was going to cost double? (And no there was no advertised sale price the week earlier). We tried calling Ultimate Home Services to get the itemized quote we were promised and our calls and voicemails went unanswered. Though after reading their reviews I think we dodged a bullet. Lowe's and their subcontractors seem to be a sub par place for flooring. We ended up going with a local company and had great results with comparable prices.
