I love Lowe's. We always shop there over Home Depot. The customer service in store is good. The customer service at headquarters is fantastic. The customer service for delivery and shipping at the store is HORRIBLE> We have ordered several appliances from this store over the years. The way Lowe's works is this: there is a central delivery service call center. Most of the stores are associated with this call center. The service professionals there are helpful, kind, and genuinely nice. You receive a call the NIGHT BEFORE to give you a two hour window for your delivery the next day. HOWEVER, THIS Lowe's is NOT under that umbrella. Therefore, when it comes to shipping and delivery, you are dealing with the often rude, unprofessional locals (or transplants) who have no idea what good customer service is like. I am supposed to have appliances delivered tomorrow. No call the night before. My helpful central call center professional contacted this store (with me on the line) and was rudely told that they were still loading the trucks and couldn't give us a window of time for delivery until they got the trucks loaded. That's not good customer service. So here I sit at home, waiting for the truck driver to call when they are on their way. Like I have nothing else to do with my day. This is a severely broken system and Lowe's Corporate needs to fix this immediately. Unacceptable in today's world. You are much better off going into the store, picking out your appliances, and then going online to order them...they get delivered through the central delivery service and you will be treated like the valuable customer you are!

This is a nightmare store if you buy something and want it delivered or installed. Please save yourself time and hassle and go to another branch or Home Depot. I have been calling and emailing last few days and they keep promising that somebody from the store will call back in 24 hours and nobody does. Is very slow to get a call for when they are ready to come and makes you sit days wondering when your appliance will be delivered and installed. The phone number they provide to check on your appliance deliver and installation is unfriendly and sometimes takes almost 30 minute on hold. They never call you back if you leave your number too. The mail headquarter sent me an email yesterday and told me that they have talked to " Senior store management at the Lowe's of S. Myrtle Beach, SC. You can expect a follow up from store management withing the next 24 hours." This is the second day of promises to call me and let me know about my appliance and not even a call. Guys.. Read my feedback and also read the one before mine. Don't be the third person. They don't have enough people to deliver and install so pick somebody else to get what you need.

Their Christmas displays are superior to home depot. And they give veterans 10% every day. They have a $99 tree that is the nicest I've ever seen. Always shop here.

Lowes extensively trains their employees in customer service. Our experience picking out a Christmas tree did not reflect the Lowes standard. I got the answer "I don't know" one too many times to questions that could be answered.

Took 30 minutes to pick up an online order. I could have done better going in getting the item and doing self checkout in 10 mins.
