I went here to get 1/4 inch crown staples, #2 pencils, sub floor adhesive, and trim nails. I found Dwight in hardware and he did a great job helping me find what I was looking for. I got 2 different kinds of pencils. I grabbed a soda and went to check out. That's where I met Barbara. Barbara was the worst cashier that I've ever dealt with. The worst combination of dumb, arrogant and confused I've ever seen. Didn't know how the credit card machine worked so I didn't have to enter my PIN, couldn't understand that I wanted to pay for the pop with cash and put everything else with a business credit card. Missed 2 pencils while checking out, and when I paid the 62 cent total with two quarters, a dime and two pennies she counted it out by going 25, 35, 36, 37 oh my I need to get a pad to add to see if you have enough. It was so over the top I was wondering when the Impractical Joker guys would show up. I still have trouble believing that someone would think it was a good idea to have her do a job she clearly couldn't figure out, and she didn't look like one of God's special children. I won't do 1 star because Dwight was so helpful, but the 2 stars was pushing it today...

Great customer support. The person helping me made sure I got what I needed when I didn’t know what to use for my project. Way better experience than at Menards.

Just went to Lowe’s and had some of the poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced. Asked an employee if they would cut a piece of chair rail to size for us, to which 2 employees had a debate over who would do it, finally (begrudgingly) deciding it was one gentleman’s job. When my husband told him the length we needed and that we needed a 45 degree angle he said, “we don’t do that.” End of story, we walked away assuming possibly he just didn’t want to since the mitre saw clearly had the capability to cut at 45 degrees. We finally went to check out, had a pumpkin in the cart with no sticker so I told her which bin it was in and the price. The cashier just looked at us and finally said, “I need something to scan.” No offer to call anyone, so I went back to the garden center to get a different one with a line of customers waiting behind us. Needless to say, at 8 months pregnant I didn’t have a lot of patience and left extremely disappointed.

Not my favorite Lowe's. I would target drive further to get better customer service. When I was 7 months pregnant an employee told my husband that if I didn't wasn't to buy the snowblower he should let me shovel. Another trip, recently, my husband and I were told that the items we wanted were not available because only professionals should be doing that project. The items were for in floor heating. I was not impressed.

I went in to buy new kitchen appliances, I bought the Samsung fridge, gas oven, over the oven microwave and the dishwasher. I wanted delivery and installation and was told it would take two weeks. when delivery day arrived they did not have the microwave and they had the wrong stove and they didn't install anything, they brought the appliances that they did have into the kitchen and left them there. I had to go back to the store to get the right stove and haul it home myself and they still didn't have the microwave. 3 days later they called me to inform me that my microwave might be in the store for me to pick up in 2 more weeks. When I complained they made it sound like it was my fault. I Ended up buying the microwave at an appliance store. If you want anything more than small items or if they tell you they will have to order it just go someplace else and save yourself the headache.
