Coming from someone who worked here, I can tell you that working here and trying to advance in your "career" is all about corporate politics in this company. I left this job in October and was basically pushed out the door because I had a better opportunity in Denver, CO that I took. Not to mention I grossed over $50,000 in sales for my last month there and not even a thank you or congratulations. I had some great times here and even tried to advance to a position in kitchen cabinet design. Well as an employee you would think I would here something, but NO. No interview, no notification, nothing. They hired some girl that came from Verizon and Mike, an assistant store manager (the most incompetent "manager" you will ever meet), came from Verizon as well. So I guess the secret to getting anywhere here is work for Verizon first! Makes sense. My whole reason for this review and the icing on the cake is that last week I finally got my W-2 form and it is now late March. I had called several times to speak to HR manager and she said she would email them to me and then nothing. I called back but she was always in a meeting or out and my messages were never returned. I spoke with Kathleen, (very helpful and a pleasure to work with) and had my forms online the same day. THEN 2 days later I get an email with my W-2 forms. Nice timing! There are some great people here I highly recommend and miss dearly but just watch out for some of the others that lurk around. And beware if you're looking for a career in home improvement sales that you want to advance in. Maybe try Verizon first? You should be set then! I am happier every day I left this sorry place behind that never cared about me or what I brought to the table!

If you know what you want and can help yourself then we love Lowe’s. If want to buy an appliance not so good. Went in recently to buy right then a new dishwasher. Clerk couldn’t be bothered. Too busy looking on computer. Went next door and spent $800.

Terrible customer service...rarely available to assist - don’t ever ever call to speak to a dept for they’ll pass you around to several depts and place you on hold in hopes that you’ll hang up...I’m taking my business to Home Depot! And I am building a house!!!! Lowe’s must be making plenty of money, for they’ve forgotten would grew their business, great customer service!

They have a good selection, fair prices, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and best of all they don't rearrange the store every other day like some other places do.
