So I ordered my gas dryer online ( I tried by phone but they said to do it online). The delivery guy calls 40 minutes out and asked me why I ordered a set of washer hoses with my dryer. I tried to explained that I didn't and he mumbled something and got off the phone. When he arrived there wasn't much conversation even though I tried to engage aobout what s shipped with my dryer so I let them go about their business. so when they were done they had me signed that they were done and I tipped them. Once I go down stairs I realize the didn't hook up my gas dryer so I aasume they needed a gas line and didn't communicate this at all. The washer hose was added to my order by someone at Lowes when it should have been a gas loine. If the driver said "you're going to need a gas line or we won't be able to hook it up" when he called I could have ran out and got one. He obviously new it didn't have one. He didn't tell me that he wasn't able to hook it up when he arrived and ho didn't tell me bofore he left. I think it is pretty poor to drop a gas dryer without hooking it up and to not let the customer know. There was at least 4 opportunities to communicate this info and it never was. Dryer works good once I hooked it up. Also, If you talk to a person they would tell you that the gas line is required. The website site should alert the need to a required item and make you aware that it can't be installed without the required item by making click a box stating so.

I like Lowes. Has a calmer vibe than HD. Not that it matters.

Takes a bit to find someone to help you. But the workers are extremely helpful and kind.

Spent hours confirming with associates from store and corporate that the piece of equipment I was going to purchase was in stock. They made me order different pieces from different locations in order to get it all same day. We ordered from two locations. They are now telling me that I have to wait a week to pick it up....and drive an hour after all the inconveniences to get it. Not only is Lowe's substandard to Home Depot, but they are also very disorganized. Very disappointed. Would not have purchased from Lowe's but they are the exclusive provider to this equipment. For such a big box store, please get it together. Home Depot for the win.
